This is a development of the winning entry of the 2022 Innovation Cup.

RSA, the lead insurer on the Master Policy, have reported that overlooked deadlines and missed key dates are a regular feature of Master Policy claims.The calendar has been designed as a simple and effective way to keep track of dates throughout the course of a residential conveyancing transaction.

This tool has been designed for firms that might not have their own checklists or are seeking a template or a better set up. Firms can download the tool directly from this web page and can implement it directly or use it as a template to create their own checklist, tailored to their firm and practice area.

We hope the checklist is useful for both the individual completing a transaction and anyone who takes up their work in their absence.

Background – The Innovation Cup

In April 2018, the Innovation Cup was launched to seek new risk management solutions for law firms and the legal profession.

The winner of the 2022 competition was Mary-Jay Morton, a Senior Associate Solicitor at Laurie & Company in Ballater Aberdeenshire.
