Kenneth qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and spent seven years in private practice as a conveyancer prior to joining the Master Policy team. During this time he specialised in the purchase and sale of farms and landed estates as well as dealing with general rural property transactions, including forestry, salmon fishings, crofting, secured lending, access and servitudes, renewable energy developments and telecoms. His experience also includes residential property from flats to high-value family homes, and commercial property of all types, including office, retail, hotel and urban development. His clients ranged from small community groups to nationwide organisations and some of the largest landowners in the country.
Kenneth's role in the Master Policy team focuses on risk management, working with firms, insurers and other stakeholders to identify and manage risks. He develops resources which solicitors can incorporate in their practice, as well as working to raise awareness in the profession of general and specific risk management issues through producing articles for the Journal and delivering presentations to individual teams, whole firms or local faculties.
Kenneth is a council member of the WS Society.
